Me: Unfiltered

I absolutely love life, meeting people, and enjoying new experiences.   I talk off the top of my head, and say what I think.  No sugar-coating here, dear.  I’ve found through lots of soul-searching that we are all individually responsible for the choices we make and the outcomes of our lives.  To live a very present life, and to live those moments to their fullest is how I try to exist.

I’m a Pisces to my core, which means my blogs my be random because I’m random due to the lifestyle that I live.  I travel a lot building my fashion empire while attempting my best at raising creative kids who are pursuing their dreams already, and keeping my awesome husband happy and healthy.   I promise this blog will be a fun ride.

My blogs are meant to make you stop and think for a bit, enjoy places you’ve never been, or give you some insight on random issues that you’ve never possibly considered.  Life is supposed to be fun, and so are my blogs.  (Although I can get deep at times.)  If we can’t laugh, then we are not living…… right?

And stay tuned….I’m writing a book.   One big fat semi-true story– it’s still a work in progress.  Hopefully I’ll get it published before I die, I’ve been writing it now for sixteen years.

“When the voice inside you is more profound than the voices outside of you, you have then mastered your life.”  Unknown.   Now those are powerful words………

  1. Those are powerful words. How to get that into a modern western life…now that’s the challenge. Love the idea of blogs that make me think…think I’ll lurk awhile.

  2. Love the attitude, love the unknown quote. I used to talk off the top of my head and say what I think (and feel) and it all seemed to fit together; to “work.”

That was then, this is now, and I’m taking a shot at getting back [closer] to those powerful words. One barrier may be that I’m a Capricorn – to-a-tee. ;-/ I remember I have all the right abilities/capabilities (some word like that). I just got pointed in the wrong direction, and being a guy, didn’t have the good sense and ask for directions back to the correct “path.”

I look forward to reading some other posts (I found you via mynakedbokkie’s blog – husbands4hire. Just starting out w/ WordPress, but I think it’ll be fun (not easy words for a Cappy to say)! 🙂

  3. Hi,
I found you on blog surfer. I never thought I was “picky” but man it’s difficult to really find blogs I enjoy.

I’m excited about yours. I’m trying to build a little community of people that we comment back and forth and actually get to know each other.

Blog hops are frustrating or those random, peek in, comment once and never hear from again…just so they can “ping” you and get you to their site.

Anyway, I’ve read a few posts and I really like your writing style and it suits my personality, so I’ve subsribed!

Hopefully, you’ll swing by and find some amusing things off my site. Who knows! 🙂

P.S. Thanks for sharing your name too…I have very little patience for people having blogs and then too paranoid about names and make up sibling 1, Drama kid, choo-choo pants, etc. Too confusing!

  4. I love your perspective. I take a similar perspective on my blog. Ultimately, I think it’s about finding happiness in life–in the small moments and in the surprises–and being grateful for it at the end of the day. Keep up the great posts!

    Keep shining,
